[Bozo - Opinion]

Pardon the intrusion but I totally disagree.

<<56Kflex modem from Motorola rather than making a phone call to receive a free (or at least relatively inexpensive, depending on date of original purchase) download of a software upgrade from USRX?>>

FWIW. I got the x2 upgrade for my Usrx Courier. Can't use it & don't intend to. My ISP dosen't offer it yet. Now it seems Usrx (amoung others) would like to screw up the standards up on adsl. IMO, this is quite a quagmire.

<<some light on the technical question!>>

No light just some common sense. WDMT, CAP, & DMT won't talk to each other. This is why Amati offers some of the workshops that they do.

Regards,

Dug

P.S.
I don't want to debate this its just my opinion
