Ian Yes it has all those things like address book, to do list etc. It also has a full keyboard in addition to the small numeric phone keyboard. Have a look at www.nokia.com I use ot for internet every now and then when I am on the boat. For example I was sailing near Italy last summer when there was a "yr2000" related problem with the GPS navigation system. I visited the (normal) website of the GPS manufacturer and found the solution. The other thing I use it for daily when on the boat is e-mails sending and receiving. The communicator is programmable and new software can be downloaded to it. I just found somebody who wrote a basic interpreter for it. (not tried yet)I am also going to download the sw for it that will it make behave like a WAP phone. I have no personal hands-on experience with the Palm unfortunately. Read the specs. How do you type in an email? Do you have a keyboard or do you have to use the stylus? What do you think of the new msft machine intro'd today vs the palm? Cor
