Gregory, I don't pay attention too much about Call/Put ratios but yesterday something happened that influenced my buying decision. In the past, a 10-Call order at market gets filled up in just seconds. Yesterday, when I ordered 10 Oct 60 Calls at market, I waited 15 minutes for the order to be filled up in increments of 2 and 8 calls!...What that means is that sellers were reluctant to sell calls knowing probably that AMAT was in the way up some more. So, by instinct, I bought a lot more at 8/sh. Just as expected, the calls at closing time were selling higher at more than 10/sh!...But, this morning, when I bought some more at 9+, the orders executed fairly fast. The stock right now is trading down more than a dollar from yesterday. No wonder, the sellers are in the mode to sell calls today!...So, the activity in Calls and Puts gives a pretty accurate picture of what is happening in the market!...
