They are probably waiting for a market standard to emerge.

They plan to offer ANSI compatible DMT line coding as well as the current predominant market share leader - CAP. I think this is a very smart response to the quagmire created by market dynamics.

<No light just some common sense. WDMT, CAP, & DMT won't talk to each other.>

The solution USRX is planning (with v.everything) is to be able to talk to any of them (including x2, ISDN, and perhaps even WDM someday) from the same modem.
