Forgive me all, but I feel almost nothing but anger bordering on rage. Six weeks ago I was long 2,000 shares and 80 call contracts on this company. The company is no different today than it was then. I had almost all of that ripped away from me because of a bunch of idiots in the market of a variety of types.

(1) The idiots who threw mountains of money the size of Everest at stocks, many of which had virtually no fundamentals at all, and STILL made money on them as long as more idiots kept throwing money at them too.

(2) The same idiots who decided to sell (or had to sell) for no other reason than the belief that everyone else was selling too, so they'd better. Again, no fundamentals of any kind.

(3) The idiots, some of whom like Clinton, are just plain idiots, and others, like Gail-fucking-Dudak who throw out comments designed to help the stampede OUT of one sector to augment the flight of investors INTO their sector. In the process, of course, all stocks in the sector being fled get hammered, again with no regard for the quality involved.

I was an idiot too. I used margin and played options, nearly to my total ruin, simply because I had no idea that there were that many other idiots out there, or the degree to which the "pseudo-informed" would (or would be allowed) to take advantage of the situation with their meaningless bullshit.

I'll almost certainly be alright in the end. I am major league invested in several very strong companies, but I am, at the moment, really pissed off. jess.
