To brk and brb

I only now noticed that you two share almost the same name and seem to be both from Seattle. Are you brothers?

I compared the results for the last two quarters:
go2net.com
siliconinvestor.com

It generates one question for me. In the December quarter the liabilities showed a deferred revenue of 6,7 Million. The current quarter shows 17,6 of deferred revenue.

What is deferred revenue and why has it gone up by 10 Million?
- is it future revenue already under contract, but not booked yet into real revenue, like the 3 year contract with Hasbro?
- or is it future revenue already booked in the current quarter but yet has to materialize?

It is presented as a liability, so it looks like future revenue already booked in current figures. That would be funny accounting, because the cost related to this revenue will be in future quarters.

Can some of the bright ones put a light on this question?

Regards,
Pareto
