If two people are in a coin-toss "match" and after 8 rounds the winners to that point are proud of their correct random guesses, then either what I lampooned must be true, or only one person is allowed to make an actual guess. If the latter is true, then 1/2 the contestants would have gotten there by default (i.e. the other person guessed wrong) and so, why would they be "bursting with pride?" The answer is, they wouldn't, hence the former I prodded you about must be true.
In actuality, you misunderstood my jest: I'm making fun of your patronizing attitude toward all. I do believe that the semifinalists of such a game would be excited, but only because they would realize that they had a 1 in 4 chance of winning a trillion dollars, and that would be exciting to most living people. In my opinion, only a person who views most (or all) others as idiots would believe that after years and years of coin tosses the typical adult would not yet realize that a coin toss result is random.
