Well Rudy,

I do read once and a while on this thread, even last week when there was a party and you where on top of the hot list. But I was 20 posts behind each time I wanted to post something.

What I like most about the travel site is the ability to accumulate information. Here as time goes by, our messages get lost in history or somewhere on the si hard drive.
A travel site would need another focus on time. If somebody visited a nice island three years ago, that info might still be very valid to me today. If I post two pages about the Ukraine, while the rest of SI is busy catching up with the latest nasdaq dip, it is not worth it. Travel stories have to go in library type of site, not a last minute newspaper site.

Even so, I will pass some more on this thread. You'll have to wait until I get a scanner before I start to put some of my 4.000 pictures on the web. This will take some months however. To much to do.

Bye,
Pareto
