Pravin,

I thought it was a shockingly poor conference call for Intel frankly.

They have completely botched the transition to 0.18 micron.

Apparently their transition to 0.18 requires new equipment and disrupts the 0.25 product running in the fabs. Must be a horrible thing to manage.

As AMD will start ramping its 0.13 in Q4 this year this gives AMD a HUGE advanatge if dreden works out from a yield and ramp schedule.

The other item is of course they are running flat out. If AMD bombs prices to gain market share they are STUCK. They will lose revenue and ASPS.

I suspect Q2 could be a real "CHALLENGE" for Intel.

No wonder they are increasing forecasted Investment sales for Q2 by 50% to $750M.

WOW the opportunity for AMD gets better and better.

regards,

Kash
