I've identified the point at which Fred went over the edge

Here it is.

Message 2851393

We don't like anyone irritating us. Fred certainly irritates some people. We like instant positive gratification from our interactions. Fred isn't giving that out to us anymore. He's become Messianic.

Well the early Fred was quite observant. He was posting info about what market makers do and earnings trends and sharing his trading experience (I think he was into brokerage activity then). With the above post he moved into new psychic territory.

Something happened somewhere to get him to where he is now. But then look at Bill Joy. Look what contact with the Earth Mother Goddess (Amory Lovins significant other) did to him. Little evil nano-machines are running around in his imagination now. he doesn't show up for BOD meetings anymore.

====================

Maybe Fred is looking for a way to feel good about Novell again. If only they would grasp THE ONE (HIS) VISION.

I can see how that could be too much for you Ellen.

It would have been too much for Bukharin and the Russian intellectuals born in the 1890's too. And look how they ended up! Ever read Bulgakov?

Do you actually own any of NOVL? From what I gather that may be something both you and Fred have in common.

Why anyone would post here as frequently as Fred and not own any of the stock is beyond me. Why anyone would read posts here that was not interested in NOVL is beyond me.

Unfortunately this is not a thread for entertainment.

My apologies for poor Fred. I wish he would stop. But I can understand him. I think if you look back at all of the original posters on this thread, most of whom have sold their stock years and years ago, you might learn something about owning NOVL and remaining sane.
