This is in response to a question re atmi that was on another thread, I can think of three reasons for the recent weakness but they are only conjectures and probably not correct but here goes:
1 the apparant decrease in the research funds that are being provided both by govt a socalled partners
2 competition from IBIS in simox wafers
3 possible dilution effect of the purchase of another company [for five mil shares plus of minus] Recent acquisitions have been met with declines in the stock of the acquiring co. Hopefully none of the above is serious and hopefully atmi went down becqause stocks fluctuate
