ah...has it occurred to anyone.....that if a "good stock" falls after a call...by someone with a rather large following....that ....the "selling" activity....could cause a temporary direction change... and when those folks....change directions again.... it goes back..??

i.e. ARIAD is tracking along just fine...is called a sell...folks follow...and sell short....then the call is made to cover...and bam...it pops back up...

just a thought.....could explain the effect you describe.
