Steve,

re: Intels 0.13 and cu

This has been publicly stated by Intel management.

And also by PB on this and/or Intel thwead.

At 0.13/cu a spitfire chip will cost $20 to make and will likely clock at 1.5Ghz+.

Now AMD will use this for the mustang initially but future lokks very bright for AMD.

After the near term volatility AMD stock has the following going for it:

1. Tons of capacity with Dresden coming on line.
2. Sale of Division which will improve cash position to $1.5Bn plus by end of Q2. This will close prior to end of Q1 per conf call.
3. Spitfire and thunderbird release.
4. Drseden production PR.
5. Likely updates from AMD on increased sales/earnings over guidance - similar to last Q.
6. And a competitior that is sold out, capacity constipated and having manufacturing problems ramping to 0.18 micron.

What is there NOT to like about AMD.

regards,

Kash
