RE: WSJ Article - <In the first quarter, Intel reported $449 million in net gains on its portfolio.? Wow. And this included taking $500M in profits (off-the cuff guess of cap gains versus interest)! Perhaps their cap gains are more sustainable than I had wondered in an earlier post. Of course, this was before the recent meltdowns which were particularly hard on internet related stocks. I will try to look at the numbers for Intel Capital Group before any more comments. (Oh, and listen to two CC!) PT
