It strikes me that ZIP disks would be superb for console game systems. CDROM is notoriously slow as these systems lack a hard disk or RAM cache and ROM cartridges can be expensive to manufacture.

Has IoMega pursued a relationship with Sony, Sega, or any of the other major game producers? It is encouraging to hear that some net PC's are going to be possibly shipping with ZIP drives... that is another application where they are ideal as a replacement to both CDROM and the low capacity 3.5" floppies. If that concept takes off and the ZIP becomes a standard watch out! Could be an immense revenue stream.

IOMG is probably an excellent buy and hold stock after its most recent 30% or so decline; the media is clearly out of touch with the potential for IoMega's product line to generate billions in sales. And explosive growth companies always get high valuations from Wall Street. I don't see IOMG falling much further from present levels. 35 is almost certainly the floor (famous last words?) :)

Good luck and happy trading all.
