A friend of mine is in the business of wholesale wood-furniture with sales to nationwide chain stores. He related to me that within the last few weeks not only the sales were grinding to a halt, one of the big nationwide enterprises was delaying payments to him. I see this as a sign of how big the stock market has become and how it is driving the "prosperity."
