Track Data's myTrack Online Trading Service Rated 3 Stars by Barron's
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 18, 2000--Track Data Corporation (Nasdaq NMS: TRAC - news) today announced that it has recently received several favorable reviews in the press for its myTrack online trading and integrated market data service. In the April 17th issue of Barron's, which reviewed ``direct connection' brokers, myTrack received three stars (out of a possible four). And the April issue of Stocks & Commodities magazine praised myTrack's fast trade executions and great customer support.
In the article ``Direct Connections,' here is what Barron's had to say about myTrack:

``myTrack, provided by Track Data, has a 'one-click trading``
function that takes you quickly to a trading screen, where you can
buy and sell stocks, options and futures. There's a wealth of
charting functionality, provided by AIQ, and you can follow mutual
funds. . . . This is one of the easier programs to use. However,
there's so much here that you'll probably need weeks to find all
the bells and whistles.``
The three-star ranking from Barron's puts myTrack ahead of some of its better known rivals, including Cybercorp's ``CyberX,' which received two and a half stars. Cybercorp is in the process of being bought by Charles Schwab & Co. (NYSE: SCH - news).

While Barron's published a ranking of various brokerage firms, Stocks & Commodities magazine completed a full product review of myTrack. Here's some of what they had to say:

``The first thing I noticed about myTrack? It's fast. Order

execution times for market orders placed in my live myTrack

account were less than a second. With the myTrade screen, I

knew exactly when my trades went through.``

``myTrack moves trades to whichever electronic communications

networks (ECNs) and market makers can accomplish the best

price. Track Data has dedicated lines to several ECNs and

market makers to make trades as fast as possible for their

customers.``

``It is clear that myTrack was developed around great customer

support; there is online technical support staff anytime you

need a question answered.``

``It's nice when the experts start to recognize what you're doing well,' said Barry Hertz, Track Data Chairman and CEO. ``Barron's and Stocks & Commodities wrote nice things about myTrack's ease of use, breadth of offerings, customer service, trade routing, and fast executions. We can't ask for more than that.'
