i think a large part of MZM would have to be backed. to be honest, i'm not sure what the ideal solution would be. i agree that overall things have gone well so far. but that doesn't change the fact that incredible imbalances have built up and will eventually derail the good times.

after that derailment i expect that at first all the wrong things will be done, i.e. muddle through a la Japan. eventually though radical changes will be made...and the current system will undoubtedly be improved upon.

but first we'll have to go through the LLCF and all that entails...i believe that's a necessity in order to get rid of the excesses and to create a stable platform for the next expansion.
