Not really.
Harmony's partner Baird & Co. is selling 10 tolas for 682pounds in the UK, which is $US1078
ajpm.com would sell the combination you suggested for $US1087

You save $9 (under 1%) on the buy side. More importantly, how much would you lose on the sell side ? Dealers want highly marketable bullion coins, not strange weight bars. If I were a coin dealer (and I was for 10 years), I would probably buy tolas at 95-98% of melt value.

Common highly marketable bullion coins have a bid/ask spread of about $8/ounce. There really is not much of a premium to save.
