Welcome to the logic of Wall Street, I had a bad feeling this was going to happen. Even OXY who reported great earnings can only come up with a 3/16 gain so far today and that is after being down more than a buck in the last few days. Short term it does not bode well for the other E&P's going into earnings. Hopefully EOG can at least muster a gain by the close. If not I wouldn't expect much from the other E&P's after they report, since this tells me the price is already built in. I'm talking short term only, next two or three weeks, after that who knows, fundamentals point up but.... EOG is my test case here, somebody got to step in and do some buying and push it above 24....
