Damien, I understand your frustration. I would love to see Objectstore sales strongly increasing but that just doesn't seem to be in the cards right now. Perhaps management is defeatist. We should also consider that perhaps management has a clearer picture of the resources needed to build strong growth in Objectstore and feel the resouces are better used to target B2B growth.

In addition to the greater competition in the DB market, the smaller size of DB deals vs B2B deals and the apparent erosion of pricing power in the DB market - there is one other consideration. Goldman made the point that the B2B competition is currently the same "size" as EXLN. The DB market on the other hand is dominated by very large companies. That's the current situation. I agree the situation in XML B2B may change rapidly in the future.

The questions that I think are critical are 1) How good are EXLN B2B products. It's tough to really know. I have a contact in a B2B trading hub startup that I've asked to look at EXLN products. It would be interesting to have an unbiased report. No guarantee she actually will. 2) Will EXLN be successful in building mindshare. We know they are doing some print ads - I hope they aren't too cautious in this regard. Rich
