"Windows2000 adoption rates" johnd: You're giving me eyestrain with these long post. My take on w2000 is it did'nt do the stock any good, but the w98 replacement will do much better, w2000 results won't be felt for a few quarters as a earnings boost, the millenium release will drive the stock even on the anticipation of it's release. I remember buying msft when w3.1, w95 were released and doing well. JH
