Lee, actually looking for a base from the volatility of the last 2 weeks or actually the whole month. The base I am talking about is not for a new bull run but for some stabilization of the market from volatility. Once that is established then economic news.. ie interest rate increase etc.. will establish whether we go up or down. That has happened so many times during the past year and I am expecting that to happen again this time. It is so difficult to know what events will affect the market but at least if there is some sort of base then you can react to the news either up or down. I hope this clarifies what I am saying about a base, future events will dictate whether we go up or down from that base but this market sure needs one now. HJ
