I JUST READ THE NEW HUBER MILL POWER REPORT I subscribe to both the Gilder Technology Report (GTR) by George Gilder ?The Huber Mills Power report? by and Peter Huber and Mark Mills (put out by Gilder). I have at times been very bullish on Gilder (although not as much lately). QUESTIONS? 1. Huber and Mills are very bullish on BOLD. This is a $100 million company (market cap.)! What are they thinking? Is this a scam? Has anyone ever heard of this company outside of the Power Report? The other company he seemed particularly bullish on is EVRC, another $100m company. I bought AMSC awhile ago and have made a lot of money on it; but that is a big company (at least relative to BOLD and EVRC). Are the Gilder bashers right? Do Gilder and his buddies really not know what?s going on? According to Bloomberg, there are only 4 analysts that cover BOLD and 0 (zero!) that cover EVRC. I would appreciate it if an expert on the relevant technology would give their honest opinion (the actual technology, not technology stocks). 2. Does anyone have the April GTR report yet (maybe someone with a friend at Merrill Lynch)? If so, would GilderGroup be mad if I discussed information from the Power Report with someone who does not in exchange for a discussion on information in the April GTR? Would GilderGroup be mad if I posted this message on the Gilder Forum (Telecosm Lounge?). I have not explicitly said which stock they put on ?The Power Panel? so maybe they will not mind. I will check for replies tomorrow morning before the open tomorrow in case anyway has the report. 3. These stocks are not having ?Gilder Effect?-like moves. Today seems like it would be a very bullish day for story/concept stocks since the market sentiment has just turned. Is this because people do not know who Huber and Mills are or don?t care? Is it because Gilder stocks have been decimated lately? Should we be shorting these stocks or buying puts on these stocks because of the negative sentiment and performance associated with Gilder (I personally have given up a lot of my Gilder returns in the last week). This question is directed to the investors out there. Basically, should I BUY, SHORT, or IGNORE these stocks. I am really at a loss as to what to do, hence the post.
