You are right, it is not clear if Mustang and Sledgehammer will be competitive with Willy, Foster and Itanium. But even a PC with Athlon/Spitfire CPU on secretary's desk is a gain for AMD. AMD needs very little to keep having blow-out quarters one after another. Plus, the PE is bound to go up from 15, given the strong growth rate.
