Not a bad day. How about this: "Among telecom carriers, Grubman likes the "clecs", or competitive local exchange carriers, which offer local and high-speed services in competition to the Baby Bells; and the high-speed national network operators such as Williams Communications (WCG: news, msgs), Level 3 Communications (LVLT: news, msgs) and Global Crossing (GBLX: news, msgs)".
A brief, but good read, for the complete article:
cbs.marketwatch.com
Sold last week at 39+, bought back Monday @ $35, so far a good move and still long. Definitely a keeper!!
Is this thread dead or is it resembling a WCG ad...someone talking, no one attentively listing? <ggg> Maybe the ads are hitting the ones they want. If WMB/WCG had any clue going forward, they would quit wasting money on ads touting communication...where no one ever LISTENS! Then fire the ad co that probably got some meager award (for the "creative" ads) to hang in their elevator to impress prospective clients...really, Wm's, you are in a business that is going forward and dealing with intelligent people, do the ads really connect? Next, change the name...do you think you would be reading this (most of you anyway) on a computer running Bill's & Paul's Software Co., OS System Windows. Nothing wrong with family, but really...lose the name and really move into the world of communication in the world before you. The model is good, take it to a higher level.
Sorry thread, but the above has been bothering me lately. Just had to tell Williams that, if anyone there LISTENS!! õ |
