letter to shareholders

RWD's 1999 annual report is now out. For the benefit of those considering investing in RWDT but who don't yet own the stock and did not receive the report, I'm posting excerpts from the letter to shareholders from the CEO and COO:

The Y2K problem cut deeply into information technologies and enterprise resource planning revenues in 1999. However, we expect a total rebound in 2000.

At the end of 1998, RWD had a market cap of about $300 million. As a result of our Y2K problems, our market cap decreased to about one half of this value at the end of 1999, with very low trading in our stock. Through our commitment over the past nine months to expand our strong Internet capabilities and to improve our internal business processes, RWD has a very compelling story to tell the public. We are planning an extensive advertising campaign to educate the public about the business segments and financial prospects of RWD. We also intend to establish relationships with the larger investment banks that will include analyst coverage of the Company and help in the area of potential acquisitions.

RWD has a great future. We want the world to know about it, and we want our shareholders and employees to benefit from it.
