No company is build overnight.

Please compare the financials of YHOO and GNET.

The April-June quarter of 1997 Yahoo had revenue of 14M.
Go2net was founded in that quarter and had revenue of US$ 218.000. Last December Gnet had 14M as well.

They are 10 quarters behind Yahoo. Still building the company, hiring staff, painting the offices, defining the limits of the corporate culture.

Revenue is now at 7M per month. An average wal-mart store has a higher revenue. It is still a very small company and resources are scarce.

It is difficult to watch the screen all day and see the stock slide 10%. But have we nothing else to do?

Watching a small company grow and expecting its shareprice to go up everyday is like watching corn growing in the field. Just give it a break and come back some months later.
