Intel shot themselves in the foot. By saying that the supply shortage might ease in the 2nd half, they thought this would be taken as a positive. Instead, everyone predicted a price war. Thats why AMD was hurt today, plus the option writers trying to panic people into selling their calls.

What Intel says about their production in 2H, IMO, is worthless. They don't know how many coppermines they can make next week, let alone 6 months from now. The bigger story from the CC was that Intel cannot meet demand for Q2, almost guaranteeing a rise in ASP's for AMD.
