Ed,

Don't bother with the FUD fairy tales, flitting or anything else. Rather than change the subject and post the same old defensive nonsense, weigh the merits of everybody's point of view. I know it's tough, but try not to fall in love with stocks. Nobody is criticizing CSCO so your panick-striken defense of the stock doesn't go over too well.

Plenty of people out there realize that the fundamental value of the company is based on the revenue and profit potential plus the actual revenue and profit numbers. I would venture to say that paying for a decade or more of flawless execution is not particularly smart. Now, I'm simply not convinced that there will be little or no competition, zero or close to zero inflation and no slack in demand for the next decade or more. You may believe that, but even if you do you cannot afford to pay a dime more for CSCO. If the price goes up, you're looking at 15 to 20 years of profits being priced in. Not based on a slow growth plan but on current explosive growth. I think that's foolish and I have been relatively good at general observations like that.

Great company; lousy investment at these levels.
