E, as I said in a previous post, the issue is in disagreement among conservatives. And I personally disagree with conservatives who would ban early term abortions on a national level.
You seem to be in greater anguish over the position some conservatives take regarding banning early term abortions, then you are over what you refer to as "infanticide". I'm curious, how is infanticide, which many liberal Democrats support, (as evidenced by our inability to ban partial birth abortion) worse than some conservatives position to have the government intrude in supporting life in early pregnancy?
I also noticed you didn't address any of the issues I outlined describing mainstream Democratic positions on all sorts of topics which have the government intruding in our lives. The issues you brought forth may or may not be true for some conservatives. The issues I brought forth are supported by virtually 100% of Democrats.
Therefore, the logic of my position stands. Democrats, and especially liberal Democrats, intrude in our lives far more than conservatives do. It's not even a close call when you consider the broad reaching implications of higher taxes, confiscation of land, forced government schooling, socialized medicine, as well as a government controlled retirement system.
How on earth you can equate the two as equally intruding in our lives is beyond objective reasoning.
