Hello thread,

I'm a long time follower of AMD (being a student, I remember their clean processor design - cascadable 29x- impressed me. The same time I had to code assembler stuff for the "brain damaged" 80286)

In a very romantic investment move I picked some NexGen back in 1995 and got some AMD assigned later on. Collected some 100 more at different lows. Then picked a handful April55 and July45 (my first options in my life) based on the optimism of this thread and the infos at JC's PC. Now I made my first cashed-in-$ with AMD and spent some bucks for SI. I hope I can contribute from time to time and my English is kind of understandable.

I'm a long time follower of this board (since K7 presentation at the microprocessor forum 1998).

Thanks for all your interesting, amusing, educating and rarely boring posts. AMD is (until now) not my best but definitely my most entertaining investment I ever made.

Special thanks to Goutama for his EPS (where I failed luckily) and "Market Watch" work. And of course to JC and his *excellent* web-site.

Boris

P.S. I think there's no longer use for my "Ignore pauL"
