"All investors, myself included, need to take a step back to think about where we've been and where we're going so we don't overreact," E*Trade chief executive Christos Cotsakos wrote in an email sent to customers today. He may have written that, but I never read it. The attachment arrived broken, and I can normally read anything. Will they never get anything right?
