Semi's reports keep rolling in with good news Semiconductor earnings: Several suppliers to the semiconductor industry reported Wednesday. MKS Instruments (MKSI) reported first-quarter earnings of 36 cents a share, against the Street's estimate of 28 cents. The company cited lower operating expenses. ATMI (ATMI) reported first-quarter earnings of 29 cents, in line with the consensus estimate. Lam Research (LRCX) posted third-quarter earnings of 37 cents, a penny higher than the analysts' ! consensus.
