I have e-mailed both enCommerce and Entrust for some insight as to the price paid for the value received. I realize I am not a finance person but do believe I have enough common sense to wonder "why". Sales at enCommerce actually dropped $1mil between 98 and 99 and they received $40mil in VC just days before the merge. What am I missing?
