As I said, Jim Bauer confirmed to me that the calls were placed to rein in the revenue estimates of analysts who the company felt had unrealistic expectations in their models.

I really don't care whether you refuse to believe it or not,
but the Barrons article seems to be completely accurate, as it has been independently corroborated to me by knowledgable sources both inside and outside Antec, who have no motive whatsoever to deceive.

I'm not going to belabor the point any further, Mike. It looks to me like a case of cognitive dissonance.
