Two kinds of Globalstar services are available: the Dual Mode services provided by Elsacom through its Local Partners using the same number of the GSM service the Single Mode services offered directly by Elsacom through its distribution network and will have a dedicated Elsacom number. Elsacom offers single mode Voice Telephony Services directly addressing individuals and organisations requiring reliable and constantly available services for: business travelling, scientific research, engineering activities, long- and short- haul commercial vehicle operations, marine industry, fishery, yachting business travelling and all those activities requiring temporary usage of telecommunications services such as peace keeping actions and civil constructions in remote areas. With the single mode services only the satellite network is used. Elsacom customer enjoys the roaming capabilities in any area covered by the Globalstar service as well as roaming onto selected GSM networks to cope with specific customer requirements. Elsacom customer can have at the same time: one SIM card (provided by Elsacom) one single number (an Elsacom number) one bill elsacom.com
