Aus, Zeev and Cardin: Congrats all on earnings from an infrequent poster: I think Zeev's point re. marketïs apparent revaluation of tech companies is important to keep in mind. Excellent analysis by Cardin and projection forward--although I think with capacity now established, margins could well exceed a conservative estimate of increase--question would be how additional capacity coming on line affects current gross.

Maybe Michael knows Latham, Watkins rep as an IPR firm; if it is not big in that area, its hire by Lexar could presage a negoatiation and global settlement with SNDK, as certainly Latham is a big corporate outfit.

$2 million, as noted by Aus, is kappa maki/bathroom paper pocket change--nada zilch, but note this from the release:

. As part of the agreement, Lexar has received a license to manufacture and market Memory Stick media under Lexar's brand.

This I see as a very defensive posture and possible hedging of Lexar's business model in a time of crisis.
