[Nice Coverage by H&Q]

I guess you can tell who has Amati/Westell stock and who
doesn't.

I guess we should look for an upgrade after they and others
can beat down the price after we have heard some of the best news
for ADSL

* GTE will roll out ADSL (Amati / Westell) ..Q3 or Q4 does it matter?

* GTE buys BBN for national internet service and value added
data networking in alliance with Cisco.

Yeah..I guess this should cause a sell-off ...the news is just
awful... and to wait until Q3 or Q4 deployment...someone go tell
Amati to "go pack their bags and go home because H&Q isn't ready"!

And that Siemens agreement and HKT alliance should really cause
another sell-off... when do these guys stop . It's so
transparent it's not even funny.

<<We have talked to a lot of investors
that have been buying Westell and Amati on the rumor that GTE
would be announcing service deployment at Networld+Interop.
However, we cautioned those investors that GTE service
deployment was going to occur later rather than sooner. As a result
of GTE's trial announcement, I anticipate a heavy sell off of Westell
and Amati due to the fact that this will perceived by the investment
community as just another one of many trial announcements," said
Joe Noel, financial analyst for Hambrecht & Quist.>>

Hmmm..is the purchase of BBN a trial...I need some help here.
Now if H&Q had thier act together, they would have bought after the
first conference and would be "singing the praise" of Amati.

You could say I'm a little disappointed with Wall Street antics.
