More schedule erosion and continued inconsistencies over where service is available:

"Globalstar service is already available in 34 countries, and is planning to
introduce service in over 80 countries by the end of the year" sez G* USA

This compares unfavorably to the February 7 Loral earnings PR:
"By the end of June 2000, the company expects to have 22
gateways in operation and billable service in approximately 80 countries.
More than 30 of the 38 gateways - the hardware for which is completed --
are expected to be in operation at the end of 2000 with billable service
available to approximately 120 countries "

And WHAT 34 countries are in service now?? The only current published list I know of is at Globalstar Northern Europe.

globalstar.fi

That list shows 43 countries. Oddly enough, this list does not include five countries said by G* USA to support roaming:
Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia
