I'm probably making a mistake responding to this argument about whether the GG newsletter is a stock letter or a technology publication but I have been lurking and this discussion strikes me as odd. Trying to categorize his publication this way seems less than helpful.

Now, I'm not a subscriber and don't know what GG said or didn't say. However, it seems to me that he ought to be judged on the accuracy of the information he provides, not whether people who buy his letter get rich. Is his description and discussion of the technology or business issues accurate or not? If he hasn't said that a particular stock is a good buy at a particular price, then I don't see how he can be blamed if the price of a stock falls UNLESS the fall is caused by the market's realization that a particular technology is not as described by him. Which category the TERN case falls into, I will leave to others.
