The stock of Microsoft was not expected to get any respect when even the strong earnings of Apple were rewarded by a sell off. This just plain sucks and yes every one is being led like cattle to the slaughter. I am going to get a drink,

CUPERTINO, Calif. (CBS.MW) -- Apple Computer shares slipped
Thursday even after the PC maker breezedÿby analysts' second-quarter
earnings estimates, propelled by brisk sales of its Power Mac G4
desktop computers and PowerBook portables.

After the close of trading Wednesday, Apple also
announced a 2-for-1 stock split.

Apple shares retreated 2 1/4 Thursday, closing at
118 7/8 per share. The stock hit an all-time high of
150 3/8 on March 23.
