But you miss my point. Almost anyone wouldn't look good compared to Andy Grove. Partially for the reasons you pointed out.

I didn't know A. Grove until a year ago when I started investing in AMD. My point is I don't compare Barret to Grove.....I compare Barret to mature companies that are doing well.....SUNW, CSCO, EMC and now AMD. He's not bad and the company is making $ but then again he had a great platform from which to start.

Bottom line: he's done two things that I find disturbing....he's left a lot of business on the table due to poor planning and it appears he overpays for acquisitions. Does that make him a bad Pres? No, but does it make him a good one...not in my book.
