I was just a kid when there was real liberal hippies, they completely rejected the establishment and would have been pro-Elian. The new and improved pseudo-hippy is a much different "cat o'nine tails". He/she is so concerned with being "newspeak" they do not say anything, i.e. a censorship without censorship. They do know what to yip at, what to raise an eyebrow at, and are experts on everything. (x = an unknown quality and spert is a little splash or spert) average joe
