For us new lurkers, are softie haters talking about Peoplesoft or Microsoft?

They're referring to Microsoft. But it sure would be fun if someone would make a list of all the companies with "soft" in the name. Maybe we should track all of them and call it the Charmin Index.

Or maybe we should take an entirely different approach. The Charmin Index could be made up of stocks we should hold lightly, as in "Don't squeaze the Charmin."

Or maybe we shouldn't. :)
