leo: Thank you for the pert response. Point of clarification: I can USE the software, but when I go to shut down, I get this nice "warning" that has lots of digits in it, and everything freezes up. CTRL+ALT+DELETE doesn't even fizz.
I have sent the exact "wording" of this warning to TRAC on more than one occasion (they have a way of not remembering who is supposed to respond to customer inquiries), and they always come up empty. I gave up pestering them because it did no good.
Because I also use my computer to earn my living (it has tons of client files on it), I just ignore the software altogether. Were I ever to crash completely (note the paranoia here) and have to format my hard drive, I would be in deep doo-doo. Financially, and otherwise.
Sooo, instead of buying a computer just to run TRAC, I have ignored the software completely.
Admittedly, I have been informed that TRAC has features that others do not. It also has its weaknesses, one of which is not offering market depth (this might just be on the Canadian side).
I, too, own some TRAC, but at this point, I am thankful that I didn't pawn my cat's pyjamas to buy more. I have no choice but to be LOOOOOOOOOOONG at this time, because I just can't bring myself to sell at such a terrible loss.
