E, Like I said, I didn't read the original post in question. This was remiss of me. When I saw anti-Semitism used in relation to nihil, I jumped to an erroneous conclusion, for which I apologize. That is not the usual way I approach a point of discussion.
While I read the Bible, and know much of what it says, I do not make a habit of quoting it by chapter and verse numbers. Does JOH mean John, or which book? The quote sounds like something Jesus would say to the pharisees and other religious leaders of the day. He had no use for them because they had perverted the word, and the laws, of God. If this is so, He was not referring to the majority of the Jews. I will check it out shortly. I realize that I am shooting from the hip here, but will research the passage.
As far as nihil is concerned, the urge to insult him is ever present. ~H~ |
