Despite stores being empty, insider leaked out that March EBITDAR is favorable to the tune of $6 million. Of course, he can not mean above the targeted plan of negative $80 million EBITDAR proposed in the bankruptcy court in the Fleet Retail document.

Estimate March sales then would be around $110 million. Anything less would mean the leaked info is false.

On another matter, with respect to building business, email from servicemerchandise.com is less frequent than one week apart. Also, email to promote events at local stores is missing in the overall cheap and effective advertizing scheme of things. Email addresses should be bought from ISPs for accuracy and for being current(10 cents or less per name?).

The cost of mailing catalog sales flyers are exuberant. I have not received any while others claimed they have seen the latest.

TV spots on uhf or cable are still relatively inexpensive. Special events spot advertizing for slow moving stores are recommended.
