In fact I have regretted buying a Palm IIIc, because you cannot put in conventional batteries. If I go into the big Swedish countryside a couple of weeks, I don't have access to 230V power for my recharging unit. And I cannot simply put new batteries into it.

Next time I buy a handheld or pocket device, I will want to make sure that it can use conventional alkaline batteries!!
