The "what me worry" spinmeisters are going full blast. Elaine Gazarelli saying this is just "a healthy correction" and there will be no recession.

Article in Forbes says that yes the NAZ may go down to 2000 -- so what. The only impact they see is be that techies will no longer be able to retire at 42 and may have to wait till 52. Plus some problems at high end businesses catering to the nouveau riche. And that's it. They are absolutely certain AG will be able to quickly fix any additional problems that might develop.

Of course the implicit assumption here is the global love affair with the greenback will continue ad infinitum regardless of US monetary policy or trade deficits.

No real fear at all.
